Homepage, product category pages and individual product pages, about us, contact page and paypal checkout process. Mobile-friendly, responsive architecture, and product search solutions.
Hand off to client included transfer of admin duties, with accompanying instructional and style guides for reference.
Berkeley Musical Instrument Exchange is a small, family-run business that builds, sells and repairs primarily acoustical folk and band instruments. In 1997 they built and have continued to manage their own e-commerce website. Increased online sales will help them greatly.
Working with their catalog of products was a challenge, it took a few testing sessions to validate the best solution for our navigation and content layout. I used affinity mapping for this process.

Instructional Style Guides
One of the project specs was to provide reference materials, since this was a new content management platform for my client.

From a design perspective, this project was exciting because I had full ownership of the process and deliverables. From a development process, it was a great opportunity to put my coding skills into play. For problems that were beyond my level, I reached out to my community and with their help, got on board with version control, GIT, and Chrome developer tools.
